Company / Mission, history...

Mission

  • development and introduction of environmental technologies based on the properties of water-soluble phosphate glass;
  • creation of new materials on the basis of phosphate glass, development of equipment and technology for their industrial production;
  • production and realization of environment-friendly vitreous (glass-like) AVA fertilizer which restores natural resources.

Background

Our environmental technologies rest on the basic research of physical and chemical properties of laser phosphate glass, started in 1970s in GOl (State Optical Institute) named after S.I.Vavilov under the guidance of Professor Garegin Karapetyan.

Last four years cover the path from the pilot batches up to the industrial production of the AVA fertilizer. The purpose of the enterprise development is to achieve a constant increase in production and sale of the new class of the complex vitreous prolonged action AVA fertilizer with annual increase in volume by 1,5-2 items.

Staff

The company staff are highly skilled scientists and engineers, including two professors and several Doctors of science.

Director General:

Dr. Ivan Limbakh, Academician of Russian Academia of Natural Sciences, Laureate of Chizhevsky Prize.

Scientific Adviser:

Dr. Garegin Karapetyan, Professor, Academician of Russian Academia of Natural Sciences and Russian Academia of Engineering Sciences.

Patents and Know-How

The technology of production rests on its own original patent base, including seven patents of Russia which have international priority along the line of PCT.

Environmental responsibility

At present humanity faces serious tasks to create and introduce resources-economical and environment-friendly technologies which make it possible to protect the live nature, to stop the global environmental contamination, to restore natural resources. Such technologies, based on the properties of water-soluble phosphate glass, are developed in "AGROVIT" in Saint-Petersburg under the management of Professor Garegin Karapetyan.
