Application of the complex mineral fertilizer AVA in floriculture

  1. The fertilizer AVA can be applied to the soil at any time, even in the late autumn without fear to loose soil nutrients together with rains and water from melted snow during the winter and spring.
  2. At planting of perennial plants such as roses, ornamental bushes, ornamental grass, seeding-pines, etc., AVA in granules is more effective. It should be applied in the ground and covered with soil in the following rates:
    • Small plants - not more than 5 g (0.5 tea spoon) for 30 x 30 cm2 hole. Fertilizing yet planted plants the fertilizer should be applied in the ground around the roots and covered with soil.
    • Bushes - not more than 50 g for 70 x 70 m2 hole at planting, and later on - not more than 50 g each year according to the crown of a bush.
    • Trees - at planting, 50 - 100 g for 100 x 100 m2 hole and later on not more than 100 g each year according to the crown which corresponds to young and active roots.
  3. The rates of the fertilizer applied into a covered ground (hot-houses, balconies, etc.) should be smaller.
  4. One of the main characteristics of ornamental bushes is their splendor and fluffing up. The fertilizer AVA provides bushes with all necessary nutrients and makes them luxuriant.
  5. The fertilizer AVA is very effective on a continuously used soil such as alpine gardens and flower-beds. The rate of the fertilizer AVA is much smaller than when conventional fertilizers are applied and shall not exceed 15 g per 1 m2!
  6. The fertilizer is effective for flowers both in an open air and in house. For example, for 1 kg of soil in flower-pots the rate of AVA is not more than 5 g.
  7. Application of the fertilizer has demonstrated that the leaf size of various plants increases 1.5 - 2 times in comparison with control plants, the leaf color becomes more intensive, branch buds actively develop and a blossoming phase begins earlier.
  8. An experience of AVA application for aqueous plants in pools and aquaria has shown a sharp leaf size extension of plants.
  9. Even a very small dosage of AVA (0.1 - 0.5 g for a flower-pot) applied to ferns, hippeastrum, coffee, zigophyllum and coleus blumei leads to the improvement of plant appearance (plants look more healthy and strong), to the increase of leaf quantity and size and color intensity. All distinctions among plant verities become evident. A weak water infusion of AVA has appeared to be very effective (put one tea spoon in 1.5 liters of water, shake it and draw it during 3 - 4 days). Watering with such infusion makes plants more attractive, healthy and strong and it seams that the fertilizer does not finish. You should add new water only and water plants with it again.
    • Application of the fertilizer AVA leads to the increase of a green mass, quantity of buds and flowers, contributes to the general improving of plants from the health point of view. Flowering process is stimulated actively, the aroma becomes stronger and flower color more intensive. AVA influences favorably on roses, making their repeated florescence more luxuriant.
    • It is better to apply AVA superficially covering it slightly with soil. The application rate is 10 - 15 g/m2. Granulated fraction of the fertilizer is better to apply when preparing nutritious soil for ornamental cultures (not more than 5 g for 1 liter of a mixture). Granules will dissolve gradually during 2 - 3 years and plants will be provided with full nutrition because even at excessive watering the fertilizer does not wash out from the flower-pot.
    • The fertilizer in powder is better to apply for preparation of the nutritious infusion and for the additional fertilizing of home plants beginning from February - Mach till autumn when they are more active. To prepare infusion for home plants we recommend to put one even tea spoon of the powder in 3 liters of water. The fertilizer possesses very low solubility in water and the dosage will be sufficient for a long time. In an open air the powder is applied like an ordinary high-quality fertilizer for one season and for once-only additional fertilizing in doses.
    • Cut flowers respond on the fertilizer magnificently. A small granule put into a bowl will extend the life of the flowers.

AVA in powder possesses all properties of the granulated fraction of the fertilizer but acts much more quickly. That is why at the additional fertilizing we recommend apply it in small dosages. It can be applied effectively during preparation of horticulture seedlings as well. The powder acts in the soil during several months.

Additional fertilizing of plants

We recommend to add not more than 3 g per 1 kg of soil. The dosage of the fertilizer applied into standard flower-pots depends on the diameter of a flower-pot:

  • 5 cm - 0,1 g;
  • 7 cm - 0,2 g;
  • 12 cm - 0,5 g;
  • 15 cm - 0,5-0,7 g (up to 1 g).
Watering

An infusion is to be prepared: 4 g of the fertilizer AVA per 1 liter of water should be drawn during 3 - 4 days at the temperature of 20oC. We recommend to water plants with such infusion once a week.

Sprinkling

An infusion is to be prepared: 2 g of the fertilizer AVA per 1 liter of water should be drawn during 3 - 4 days at the temperature of 20°С.

Cut flowers

We recommend to add about 1 g of AVA powder in water for flowers.
